General Information - Size Selection
 
You can select the proper Renold Ajax Universal Joint for your application by using the following sizing procedure, or by forwarding your requirements to Renold Ajax for evaluation by our engineering staff.
 
If you choose to have Renold Ajax size your Universal Joint, please fill out the information on pages 30 and 31. Let us propose a design to suit your needs.
 
If you prefer to size your application on you own, simply follow the procedure of the following pages.
 
We, at Renold Ajax, have committed ourselves to the highest degree of quality and service of heavy-duty universal joint driveshaft assemblies and component parts. We look forward to working with you on an individual basis from the initial sizing right on through proper maintenance of your driveline.
 
Renold Ajax also offers Spicer, Rockford, or Rockwell style driveshaft assemblies. This design features a conventional stub and slip yoke to create a length-compensating shaft. These particular shafts (see below have been in use for many years.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Standard lengths of 24, 36 and 48 inches are in stock and ready for immediate delivery. Other lengths can be manufactured quickly to your specifications and needs.
